Thing 6

I am going to try to import the picture that I played with on the Flicker Color Picker. Here goes....was easy and fun but I have to figure out how to get it on here or anywhere! I think that I could use this with my kids if I ever could get to use the computer lab. We only have 1 to share with the whole school. TIME is the biggest crunch with doing anything new. My principal says that we need to give up good things to make room for great things.

Ok that didn't....help! It said that the image couldn't be loaded, that there was an error.

Thing 5

Well, this was a bit overwhelming at first, but I soon saw the wonder of it all. I liked the Flicker thingie...looked up Art, Ft. Collins and nature...really cool indeed. I can see how this would be great for my teaching. Only, I don't understand the difference between this and just googling a piece of art. One difference is that these are personal photos, not professional businesses or someone selling something. I liked the video about the kids holding up signs: digital learners, ok I get it! Not sure if I have enough time to do much about that though!

Lots of buttons to push!

Hello...I am trying to change the fonts and colors with each blog...I have noticed that if I navigate off this page and push edit html my settings get all weird and strange symbols appear, so I don't know what to do about that. This blog I will attempt to insert a picture from the internet. I may or may not be able to add any more text, so here goes....

I agree! and a picture of my sons

Ok, so I am in agreement with you about the ever changing world of technology. I am experimenting with the font, the color and the size. I do feel as you that it is a lot to keep up with, but it is fun none the less. Consider other options: meeting, reading and/or writing things that may or may help us in other areas. This actually will have an impact on future things we do.

Are we having fun yet?

I know that we are supposed to write things that might be helpful for classroom activities, but I'm not sure what that would be at this point? My elementary students don't have access this this type of communication I don't think. Any ideas about that or am I just terribly misinformed? I am trying to keep up with this class and I think the pace is ok. Now and then I get confused about things, but things are slowly becoming more clear. How about you? I just tried to add an image but it didn't work ? It was a picture of my mom on her 90th birthday (all her kids met her in Vegas and she was gambling at a machine).
